Aufgaben:
The Allianz Customer Insights team drives data-driven decision-making by delivering a deep understanding of customers, markets, and future trends through global brand tracking, ad hoc research, creative and campaign testing, and both quantitative and qualitative analyses. As an intern, you will actively support research projects end-to-end, contribute to insights generation, and help evaluate marketing performance across global and local initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in modern market research and strategic marketing, making it an ideal opportunity to develop analytical, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills in a leading global organization. Manage and analyze a global brand tracking study to measure how the Allianz brand performs over time, working with external research partners and country teams to ensure high-quality data, and turning large data sets into clear, structured reports for decision makers. Design and run custom surveys from start to finish, including writing clear questionnaires, testing campaigns and advertising materials, and exploring customer attitudes toward topics such as new technologies in insurance. Analyze data and prepare concise, easy-to-understand reports and presentations that explain key findings and provide practical recommendations for marketing and management. Take ownership of smaller research projects independently, for example deep dives into specific markets or target groups, and contribute to improving how research results are communicated and used in everyday business decisions.
Qualifikation:
Current Master's studies (preferred) or advanced Bachelor's studies in market research, marketing, business administration, economics, or social sciences with a quantitative focus; initial practical experience in research, data analysis. Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data, including solid knowledge of Excel and very good PowerPoint skills, especially the ability to clearly visualize data and insights for presentations; experience with SPSS, Power BI, or Python is a plus Ability to design clear questionnaires and translate data into structured insights, reports, and presentations; prior experience in survey design or report writing is desirable but can be learned during the internship Excellent English skills (at least level C1) are required for working in an international environment; additional languages are an advantage Openness to creative and innovative solutions, as well as a passion for working with forward-thinking technologies such as artificial intelligence or internal ChatGPT.
